there are at least a couple words for this

A controversial political ad that shows a supporter of the GOP’s gubernatorial hopeful in Virginia, Ed Gillespie, trying to mow down Latino and Muslim children with his pick-up truck has been taken offline – on the heels of the very real New York City truck terror attack.
‘We knew our ad would ruffle feathers. We held a mirror up to the Republican Party, and they don’t like what they see,’ said Cristobal J. Alex, the president of Latino Victory Project, the group that financed the ad…

People of Virginia! Get your heads out of your a*ses and listen up!

The choices before you for the Governor’s race are becoming clearer every day. While you might think that your vote might be better spent than Gilespie, who is no jewel lying on the sidewalk, free for you to pick up, Northam is that pile of steaming, hot, dog s*it that needs to be removed, and you don’t have a disposable glove or plastic bag.

Remember on Election Day that the vote is yours. Be sure you don’t step in it.

I’ve seen it, and it doesn’t surprise me.
The candidate for Governor, current Lt. Governor Ralph Northam, pretends to be a caring physician, who went to VMI, says he lived with and still lives their honor code, which is “I will not lie, cheat or steal, nor tolerate it in others”, yet he has been caught on tape saying things like favoring sanctuary cities, advocating tearing down Confederate statues, channeling state funds to cronies, missing 58% of meetings he was required to chair as Lt. Governor, bragging he is proud of his D- rating with the NRA which is actually an F, yet in his campaign ads and speeches, he denies he ever said or did any of these things. A liar of the first order. So much for the honor code.
BTW, in almost all of his ads, he brags about his eight years as an Army doctor like he was and is a great patriot. Fact is, he had an ROTC scholarship that paid for his medical school, and he was required by contract to give the Army eight years of service. He left the day his eight years were up.

His running buddy, current Attorney General Mark “Red” Herring has been even worse. Within two weeks of taking his oath of office, he refused to defend the State of Virginia in a lawsuit. That is his job – to represent the state in any legal matter. If you hired an attorney, and your trial date came up and he told you he couldn’t go to court because he disagreed with you, would you continue to employ and pay him? Of course not, yet that’s what happened. He has also been caught in all kinds of financial shenanigans with state funds outside the purview of his office, and has worked to get felons to vote and acted in favor of releasing sexual predators into the population. He is in favor of sanctuary cities, enacting draconian gun control laws, and is a political scumbag right up there with the Clinton. He didn’t do his job the past four years, yet he wants to stay as Atty. General.
The black guy running for Lt. Governor is just another race pimp, playing the race card in all his ads.

Given these guys’ scurrilous records, the lies they’ve been telling for the past four years, that their boss and Governor has been Terry “McAwful” McAuliffe, former chair of the DNC, Clinton crony and bagman, who is wanted for multimillion dollar fraud in Mississippi, anything they say may disgust me, but doesn’t surprise me. They’re cut from the same cloth as Clinton and Uhbama.

BTW, McAuliffe colluded with the self-proclaimed Prog activist mayor of Charlottesville to ensure a clash between the marching white supremacists (who had a permit, BTW) and the Antifa mob (which did NOT have a permit) that resulted in a riot that killed a young Antifa woman. It was the Antifa that showed up with weapons and masks and struck first, and it was the Dem activist mayor of Charlottesville and McAuliffe who ordered the local police and the Virginia State Police to stand down and do nothing to separate the two groups or stop the violence. FWIW, it’s against the law in Virginia to wear a mask in public, yet all the Antifa people wore masks and nobody was arrested.
That’s the kind of scum we’re up against; buy more ammo. We’ll need it if they win.

“Controversial” is a discussion that involves 9mm versus 45acp. (okay, actually, there is no controversy. 45acp rules and anyone who thinks otherwise is a big poopy head)

Controversial is not an ad showing a truck trying to run over people, rather, it is disgustingly reprehensible.

^^ Claire – Unlike Kalifornia, our salvation has been the state legislature, which has a substantial Republican majority in the House of Delegates, and a slim 1 vote majority in the State Senate.
They’ve managed to hold off a would-be runaway McAwful.

The poison in our well is the growth of government in DC, which was pretty much confined to the DC limits fifty years ago.
Under Clinton, Bush and Uhbama, it has spread like a cancer to all locales within a fifty mile radius of DC, which includes the state’s most populous counties in Northern Virginia. Most people living in those areas derive their living from the Leviathan, either directly as Fed government employees, or as contractors and lawyers to the Fed government, so they vote their pocketbooks to ensure government growth. The polling stations in those areas typically remain open hours past the official closing time, and they never get their votes counted until the wee hours of the morning. I’m convinced they’re watching the returns from the rest of the state, which are mostly in by 9 pm, so they know how much ballot stuffing and how many no-shows and dead people they need to vote in those wee hours in order to eke out a win. I’ve asked again and again to be a poll watcher in NVA, but the Stupid Party has always refused me, steadfastly insisting the elections are honest, and steadfastly losing statewide office elections. McAwful won by just 2%.

Y’know, I think the most despicable thing about that ad is that it’s a gross insult to Democrats and the people it’s aimed at. I mean, the jackasses who made it and paid for it think their kind of people are as stupid and hateful as they are.

This kind of thing just confirms my view that left-wing “activists” are not the best shining examples of their chosen -ism, but the worst.

    (Hmm… I think there’s a PhotoShop topic in there somewhere. Hold on…)

In recent months, many folks on the net have repeated the simple statement “If you want more Trump, this is how you get more Trump.”

And yet they refuse to learn.
