Interesting dilemma for constitutional conservatives: demand “bake the cake” or endure massive censorship?
There’s another option, though, in a free republic: competition.
Where are the free-speech services?

(What? Hell, no, I don’t want ‘em censoring the Left™ in retaliation! I want ‘em jackasses out there sayin’ stupid stuff and bein’ called on it. You know, like we do here.)

Trouble is “censorship” isn’t the exclusive domain of the government. Say or demand something the Conservatives think is offensive the Conservatives go the legal route and usually lose. Say or demand something the Left doesn’t like and the result is a linty of verbal bashing in Social media, street violence or even Arkancide.

Example: No more National anthem for them. Leftist school administration in Georgia of all places:

The school said, “Over the past couple of years, it has become increasingly obvious that more and more of our community were choosing to not stand or recite the pledge.”

Can you imagine if the “Conservative State of Georgia” sent in the NG to enforce the singing of the anthem while standing?

Back 65 years ago when I was in elementary school if you balked at standing and singing the National Anthem the teacher grabbed to by the back of your shirt and by golly you stood. Fortunately, in my school everyone was proud to stand and sing the anthem reverently.

FYI, as was pointed out elsewhere, when platforms such as Youtube, Facebook or Twitter start banning speech, it means, legally, they are taking responsibility for what is said on their platform. So, if something defamatory or inflammatory is on their sites, they technically can be held liable for said statements. No more will they be able to hide behind any claims of “Free Speech” because there is no free speech on their platforms.

These companies might be opening up a legal can of worms they may wish they’d have left sealed.

Go long popcorn because lately, these kinds of things have been coming back to bite leftists bigly.
