The future ain’t what it used to be

When sci-fi is no longer fi,
and fantasy is no longer fantastic,
reckon we’ll have to worry more about reality

    Books don’t shoot back.

Well, except for that book-gun I just invented.
It’ll be .357 mag in your honor.
    I’ll make the sequel a 12 gauge.

Quick question- what physical objects were so important to the founders that they are mentioned by name in the Constitution or Bill of Rights?

Restrictions on ownership, caliber size, magazine capacity, where you can store them, when you can use them, how you carry or transport them, all the constant calls about how no one needs “scary” army guns… it’s giving me a damn headache!

The 2nd Amendment makes it perfectly clear that gun ownership is a RIGHT from GOD, and though the Founding Fathers were too polite back then to actually say so, if you don’t like it, f*ck you.

Simple fact: no gun law is worth a bucket of cold p*ss if nobody obeys it. Look at the thousands of laws designed to keep weapons from the hands of bad guys, then look at the tens of thousands of bad guys that have guns. And how many times do police arrest these bad guys with their guns for doing bad things with their guns, only to have Liberal prosecutors and judges let them slide by not charging them under these laws that are supposed to prevent gun crimes.

Bad guys know they can ignore the laws and probably get away with it. So why don’t good guys learn from this? Just because some politician puts a stupid law on the books doesn’t mean you have to obey it. A little common sense (don’t be doing something stupid that’s going to call attention to yourself,) a little diligence, and a lot of silence can go a long way. Posting pictures of all the guns you have might not be a good idea.

Good people will do good things. Sometimes “good” doesn’t mean “legal.” Eventually all this foolishness will end up at SCOTUS and be sorted out.

And here’s a happy thought: President Trump will probably be re-elected, giving him six years still to appoint more conservative judges. Do you think RBG has six more years in her?

Whew! I had to go look in my gun safe. Yes, my .357 is still there in it’s covering. It’s not off by itself knocking off a liquor store or ambushing a officer of the law or shooting up a mosk.
