What Fresh Hell?

it’s a Thing now

It used to be that the unimpeded drive to feed oneself was the generating power behind any number of wonderful things benefitting many.

Now, not so much.

A year ago, in Seattle, a man living in a city-funded homeless encampment raped a woman in the bathroom of a Volkswagen dealership in [Seattle's] Ballard neighborhood, according to the victim and law enforcers.

Well, that there is a crime, I don’t care who ya are.

But wait. Apparently, as that crime was committed by a denizen resident of one of Seattle’s city-sanctioned drug homeless camps, and the victim of the felony is a woman, and a regular citizen we gotta stage a WWF Cage-style Battle o’ The Victimmmmmmmmms
Kinda like a staged toddler-fight at the day care — only more distasteful.
*cue Gillette theme music*

The victim went to her local .gov representatives and asked that the city-funded homeless encampments at least run background checks on the “residents”. This Perp Alleged Rapist had at least one active outstanding warrant but Seattle’s city-funded drug homeless camps welcome all comers.
Because Victim.
or something…

But in the tortured logic of intersectionality, the story of an alleged homeless rapist…

Point of order? We’re talking the legal-eese kind of “alleged:” Employees at the dealership interrupted the attack and restrained the man until police arrived.

Just for “context,” m’kay?
Back to the quote.

But in the tortured logic of intersectionality, the story of an alleged homeless rapist demands “context,” while the white, blond, middle-class target of his assault is an unsympathetic victim.

[The crime] didn’t fit the preferred narrative of compassion for the homeless, so the political class played it down.

Aside: what happens when one’s preferred narrative goes from *what’s hot* to *what’s not*? BTNIN

Ok, let’s score up here;

In this corner…

The Victim: white -1; be-homed -1; female +1; brown-haired* but *said* to be “blonde” -1; == -2

-vs-

The Perp Alleged Rapist: white -1; “homeless” +1, junkie of some kind +1 == 1

And the winner? Raaaacism. Marxist Claaaacism. And any other damfool thing that divides us into petty Tribalism and obscures any Value on the things we all want, like safe, clean, poo-free places to do business, live and raise kids. and just go watch a funny move unmolested once in a dam while…

Which desire — in the tortured logic of intersectionality — means STFU, it seems.

Local journalist Erica Barnett claimed that the story drew attention because [Victim] is an “attractive blonde woman” and dismissed the victim’s “many tears” as theatrics serving a false narrative that the homeless represent a danger to the community…

…Councilwoman Lorena Gonzalez lectured that reporting on cases like Lindsey’s could create fear in communities “that may already be triggered.”

That first is a sample of that kind of viciously cold cruelty of which only the “caaaaring class” is capable.

Given the demonstrated quality of argument and reason-based grasp of reality presented by “intersectionality,” I would like to express my current approach:

Your Premise is Stupid.
Your Facts are In Error.
Your Reasoning is Specious.
You are Motivated by a Deep Personality Flaw.

That said, I’m willing to hear you out.

For further information about the City-Funded Homeless Camps like those in Seattle now being planned for middle-class and upper-middle-class areas of cities up and down the West Coast, please see Seattle Is Dying. It’s worth the hour as this is a civilization-destroying …shall we say, trend.

I’m questioning myself as to why I’m reluctant to call this practice a ‘baldly intentional destruction of Western Civilization.’

One would think that even if one place actually tried this Homeless Camp plan simply because they were simple and overtaken by the ‘it’s so nice and caringexcuses argument, they would stop once they saw the negative results. And piles of poo.

Other places would then take note of what an’ horrible FAIL the idea is – akin to feeding wild bears – and not repeat the ‘experiment.’ Anywhere. Evar.

Even the excuse, “I’m fundamentally incapable of admitting I was worng” only goes so far.

When one’s local gov’t will not or cannot uphold civilized behavior,
the ancient Common Law of self-defense applies.
    Even modern law recognizes that.
(It doesn’t look at revenge as self-defense, though.)

No rapist is a victim, not by any definition of the word.
Neither is a rapist with gunshot/knife/axe/impact/wood-chipper wounds.
(No matter how long after the rape, if I’m on the jury.)

    Next week on KisP:
How fixing the border will fix the homeless problem.

(What? Okay, hear me out. When a good mass-deportation system is operational, it will be easy to sneak-in a few bums on each trip south.)

The fear will be much greater, when the locals finally revolt, the homeless find they’re not welcome, and those unwilling to leave find they have numerous new openings in their bodies.

Isn’t there some kind of “violation of civil rights” at the state or federal level that could be applied here?

In New York they are doing the same thing. It will ruin that city too.
