    I like Dept of Peace.
The logo should have “Department of Peace” on top, a battleship bristling with guns in the center and “Peace Through Superior Firepower” along the bottom.
That would be much better than Dept of Defense and almost as good as Dept of War.

Department of Peace. Orwell foresaw that.
Aside, just reread Sun Tzu’s Art or Peace.

When I read “Department of Peace” I have been so programmed to instantly think of “Religion of Peace” – perhaps an opportunity to consolidate both with a logo showing an infidel’s head being lopped off but spilling pink blood instead of red?

    Just a thought.

What, no reference link to Black Adder?

nah, we all probably knew it.

^ Think I did that with the first appearance of this template, as always, for the benefit of whippersnappers and historians.

Not to be critical, but as a 50+ year Star Trek geek, I must point out that it was a type of Klingon ship that was called a “Bird of Prey” (reference “Star Trek IV, The Voyage Home”).

    Romulans called their ships “Warbirds”

^ No, no, yeah, that’s the kind of heads-up critique I need!
Haven’t watched the original series for 40yrs.
Haven’t watched any of the sequels.
Pretty sure that is a Romulan ship, though.
    Fixed it, thanks!

Just occurred to me that Federation and other starships’ offset powerful-warp-drive pods don’t look realistic.
Being separated that far, any thrust mis-match would throw the ship into a violent flat spin.

Then again: “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic” — A C Clark

    Sooo… nevermind

What, so now you’re saying that Klingons and/or Romulans are gay? Or are they just extra woke with that big pink bird?

OTOH, if you’re implying Williamson is from another planet, I think we all figured that one out already.

^ You give me too much credit for deep thought and subtlety.
It was just an optical pun.

^As to the uneven thrust, they keep the engines synchronized via quantum entanglement.
