Whatever happened to nuking the weather?

No space mirrors
Option 1: move the Moon so we get a total eclipse when and where necessary
Option 2: get rid of daylight saving time to shorten afternoons when the Sun is hottest

    Re: “Ocean Seeding”

    One word: “Kudzu”.

(And it was the most practical of his suggestions.)

Personally, I’m more worried about the approaching Ice Age caused by the much-ignored sunspot shortage.

My favorite was Paul Erlich in the 70s and 80s saying we had to melt the polar ice caps or we were ALL GONNA DIE!!! from the coming ice age and then, in the 00s, saying we were ALL GONNA DIE!!! when global worming melted the polar ice caps.
And people call me anti-science when I point and laugh at their doomsday cult.

Galileo called. The message was garbled but *something* science and Reason being poor weapons to fight *something* a religious conviction *something* desperate power hunger.

Yang: “…inject sulfur dioxide in the stratosphere to reflect sunlight away.”

I thought one of the justifications for ethanol in gasoline was to reduce sulfur oxide emissions.
I guess this genius Yang would like more acid rain and global cooling, maybe even give us a few years like 1816 (The Year With No Summer) where dry sulfate fogs and summer frosts plagued most of New England and Western Europe with widespread crop failures.

(Late with this one – been away for a few days at a family wedding…)

“stupid leaders just wanted to serve Martians”

Is that like the way the Kanamit wanted to serve Man?…
