ToDaZeD Calizuela *palm-to-face*

PG&E will be fading us to *dark* around 2pm. In honor of a “Wind Event” overnight.

The way PG&E is handling this all; website ‘frozen for testing,’ multiple fone calls to the same accounts with different 13-character “passwords” promising some sort of sooper-secret special information in which, invariably, all of the characters but one are perfectly computer-articulated. The one is either T or P or D or V or lolgf or something.

Then, when confronted at their daily presser — at which no actual information is communicated — the guys in ties get testy and repeat nonsense phrases. Yepperee, I am deeeelighted these putzes [putzi?] are in charge of my electricity.

Meanwhile down at the county level, they are putting off the “public feedback meeting” where they ‘splain why they are prohibiting natural gas from all new building. Cuz electricity is soooo much better. *click*

Working on the ol’ Positive Attitude, here, as there is another “Wind Event” predicted for Sunday/Monday overnight. hm…

When we went to our fave weather site to learn more….. it reported Thursday’s predicted winds of 375mph and temperatures of -2 to -199. hm…

Didn’t comment right away, ’cause I wanted to wait to hear the
emergency generator fire-up on its weekly Wed-afternoon automatic self-test. Ahhh, there it goes.

I expect some of the power techs out there are guys from back here who aren’t busy now that hurricane season’s over

Californians will be rooting for “The Big One” by the end of the year.

I will be testing the generator when I get home this evening.

We’re not supposed to be impacted but, well…

I feel for the PG&E guys.
I saw Newsom talking about investigating oil companies for the high gas prices in CA.
So ridicutaxes and ridiculations are meaningless, it’s those greedy oil execs and their gouging.
They’re already starting to auto-da-fe the PG&E folks for doing what they were told, it’s only gonna get worse.

yeah, Veeshir @4 — gas is *always* higher in May and Sept/Oct because the refineries hafta shut down to re-tool for the winter/summer boutique blends demanded by Calizuela Law. [the ones that make moar pollution and get worse mileage RTNIB]

I was gonna be paying $4.10 yest but the pump offered me one of those supermarket discounts, so I punched in a pal’s number and *p00fta* $3.90 per. yay!
[it's ok -- my pal escaped CA a coupla years ago]

2.23 here at costco. So far we haven’t had to deal with mandated brown outs or worse. But our governoid and legislature are working hard to help NM catch up with Cali.

    Stay safe, my friends.
