Soo-prize Edition

Chesa Boudin was born in NYC to Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, those Weather Underground/SDS members who were convicted of the Brink’s robbery in 1981, including the murders of two police officers and a security guard. [Kathy Boudin was paroled after 22 years and became an adjunct professor at Colombia. David Gilbert is a permanent resident of Wende Supermax Correctional Facility.]

At the age of 14 months, Boudin went to live with his adoptive parents, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. Along with his Rhodes Scholarship, Boudin boasts a term as ‘translator’ in the administration of Hugo Chavez.

Boudin works with the Civil Rights Corps, which seems dedicated to doing away with the bail system, and Re:Store Justice [sic] which advocates “Re:storative Justice“.

Why am I telling you about this peach of a fella? well, upon being elected as San Francisco’s District Attorney last week, he said this:

“The people of San Francisco have sent a powerful and clear message: It’s time for radical change to how we envision justice. I’m humbled to be a part of this movement that is unwavering in its demand for transformation.”

So how’s his track record?

…Boudin will have to navigate an already tense relationship with police, whose union [POA] blasted him during the campaign as “the #1 choice of criminals and gang members,”

Boudin also reportedly came under fire from police during his election party when a progressive city supervisor led a chant of “F— the POA,” referring to the [police officers'] union.

That lovely chant, “F*ck the POA! F*ck the POA! F*ck the POA!“, was led by SF Board of Supervisors member Sandra Lee Fewer whose husband is a retired SFPD sergeant.

Here’s some data from a real estate site for your perusal.

Sadly, this insanity will not change until the citizens change it, either with votes or violence. As the mindless stupidity grows in Cali, people are reaching their limits and leaving for less effected areas, such as Arizona, Utah, Texas, Idaho, and others. Unfortunately, when they each become 101% fed-up with California, they are bringing 99% of that Liberal crap that they once tolerated with them.

I don’t go to SF, yet, I have a permit to carry.

    Why?

Because I think the SF Police would arrest and toss me in jail, even though I have a permit.

Which is sad, because I’d really like to go see the Giants play in their stadium.

I’ll bet that lead to an interesting conversation back at home.

And Blake, my son’s Fresno father-in-law says that’s precisely why he won’t carry in San Francisco.
