i suspect that she thinks that, in her case, being native american and all, she would have a lifetime term like scotus does. then, with her being a law professor and a girl and all, plus native american, she is immortal*.

*she might not understand the difference between “immortal” and “immoral”

She followed that up with, “Call me old-fashioned, but I think the person who gets the most votes should win.”
Old-fashioned? Wholly-molly, what the heck does she think that means.

Given that the US Constitution is a creation of the states that ceded part of their sovereignty to serve their mutual interests, one shouldn’t be surprised if they don’t readily cede something that essentially erases the concept of individual states as such.

Maybe Liz should be banned from all colleges in retribution for her made-up family history which she used to her benefit in previous job applications?

This image sums things up nicely. Note that there are 15 states that don’t have a single county in dark purple, and a bunch more with only one. So good luck getting them to sign on to being completely disenfranchised so you can reach the magic 38 threshold.

(And it’s worse up here. Half of our population live in just 15 cities.)
