For as sick as she makes me, can we declare AOC an off-shoot of the Corona Virus and have her quarantined away from TV cameras and microphones? Please?

Laughing at the local hipster-market; they still have the signs on the wall about “Save the Plaaaaaanet – Bring Your Own Bag.” [srsly. it says that]

But now they look at that same bag as if it were filled with wet bats, crying aloud “Pack it yourself, you crazy person!”

    You made me laff!!
Tell ‘em not to worry; they’re only wet Wuhan bats. Xi said they’re not the problem.

^ you’d think right? But no, it’s all according to his model. If we (Trump) hadn’t enacted travel restrictions, and shutdowns and stuff, we’d be exactly where the perfesser predicted. So, a vast right wing conspiracy to make the perfesser look bad.

Not sure it’s fair to crap on the Brit scientist who had the courage to tell the world that his assumptions were faulty and therefore his conclusions wrong.

From what I’ve been able to find out (from the always reliable internet, no bullshit out here, no sir) his assumptions were reasonable and based on data then thought to be reliable.

Would we rather he did not modify his advice in the face of change and kept quiet or continued to defend an erroneous opinion? He’s not a Democrat you know.

    Valid points

I was mainly trying to use the models & assumptions lesson for an AGW-alarmism point.

Almost did “What’s the difference between this prof and an AGW alamist?”
Ans: This prof can admit a mistake.
