Moved one cartoon to the post above
Cultural ref (fox hat, for those who need a reminder)
NOTE: the gas cans are just clip art for the analogy, not part of the actual riots

Do know those red things will leak all over their feet.
    [in CA at least]

And usually those red things indicate gasoline. It will go FOOP all over them when they stand in the fumes and light it.
A properly trained arsonist knows to use diesel in a pour start.
But then maybe…oh no, they wouldn’t…Molotov cocktails…not those peaceful protestors.
So where’s the stash of empty wine bottles and rags?
Oh, of course, that bunch of no-work ne’er-do-wells will be well equipped with that material.

“Do know those red things will leak all over their feet.”

IF that’s a real picture and not something staged, the plastic gas cans, sure, they’re just 5 gallon dribble cups, but those 5 metal cans? They look like *genuine* NATO fuel cans – which are currently in the $80 each price range if they’re current Latvian production and not worthless cheapo Chink knockoffs – and they have NATO can spouts attached – $16-22 each, depending on source. NATO fuel cans, BTW, and the spouts for them (nothing else fits) are internally vented to: 1) allow emptying them faster, and; 2) not spill or dribble. There’s 5 cans – about $500 with spouts.

If that is indeed a real picture, looks like someone is putting serious money behind all this. What a surprise…..

Homer, perhaps we should be asking “Who has serious money like this?”

@rickn8or – Oh, I know, I have a list of “sources of serious money,” all of which are well known even if there’s no direct link to the credit card transaction for those gas cans. Problem is, no one seems to give a damn about dealing with it.

    Homer @3
The gas cans is just generic clip art for the
‘tossing gasoline on a fire’ analogy

Edited the pic to make that clear
