It is a clever obfuscation / confusion of meme/bumper-sticker with actual organization. The DumbingDown™ has worked: barely anyone has bothered to visit the BLM website [oof! such a task!] to see what they say about their Marxist goals.

Aside… Say – how do ya think Marx, himself, viewed transgendered black wymyn?

I go by actions, not words.
That doesn’t appear to be the majority opinion though.

There’s a commercial for Consumer Cellular where one person says, “Consumer is in their name so you know they’re customer oriented!”
That alone makes me want to never use their service. It really annoys me.

I doubt he ever viewed such a thing, because the very concept was not even in the language then. Victorian England would probably have put someone claiming such an identity into a mental institution, which is where I think they belong today.

We need the White House Press Secretary to open all her briefings for a while with “Remember, Black Lives Matter is not just a slogan with which we can agree since all lives do, it’s an organization founded by Marxists.”

No better/more usefully than Darwin viewed epigenetics. Just as heritability can no longer be seen as mediated only by the DNA sequence, so power in society can no longer be seen as reducible to control of the means of production. Foucault was already a step or ten ahead.

Still, Marx’s template for the interrogation and analysis of power remains and can be built upon.

As a means to rationalize erroneous postulates, perhaps.

Fortunately, we have the luxury of knowing how the industrial revolution, biology, and europeanism turned out, although most of Marx’s tripe was arguable even in his time (e.g. labor theory of value)
