Speaking of Goals…

Public Policy 101

For one reason or another, it’s been months since I passed thru the bum/junkie-littered part of TownNearMe. [downtown, some shopping areas, even some neighborhoods. just not those where those who voted to make this a reality live.]

Drove thru today. You know the scene: filth and junk everywhere, randos arguing with invisible lamp posts, a vague, unhealthy, unholy stench in the air…

I realized that one of the effects of such legally encouraged debauchery on the average, functional citizen is an incredible sadness at the deep human misery and waste of human potential. Natural & logical consequence, surely. Accidental? Intended? Feature or Bug?

NB all of the above has been fantasized for entertainment purposes only.

^^^naaah, DM. I quit goin’ there at least a decade ago. Diz. Gusting.

It’s kinda a strip all along the coast up to Seattle, now. Blue Tarp Towns cheek by jowl so’s ya can’t tell one from another [following theLALAland model.] [and whyinhell are all tarps blue??!? I think I'd take CalTrans Orange or Safety Lime over that.][ok. *not* pink]

The exception is places like the neighborhoods and shopping districts where NannyP’s homes are and, to a greater or lesser degree, all the other ProgPols. They cleared out a whole coupla miles of it when PrettyPettyGavin.gov bought a new house. Neighbors had mixed feelings…

It’s time to start spending the money we would’ve spent on homelessness, jails, and prisons, on mental institutions instead.
