Stuff That’s Hard to Do (James Webb Space Telescope)

Good news!
The major JWST parts are now deployed
Love it when a bunch’a failure modes flying in formation actually works

Locker room pat on the ass for the ops and engineering teams
Now go get a pizza and some sleep

Ariane 5 done real good
JWST has enough propellant for 20yr lifetime (expected 10yrs)

Agreed. But at the same time, you reeeeeeally hope they did get everything right. The call-out charge for a repair trip to L2 could be pretty steep.

Yeah, hard to web-search for a support tech when you don’t have a zip code

ZIP would probably need to be the location of the launch vehicle.
