  1. The fake athlete one is extra funny.
In the before, athletes got fake diplomas. In the glorious Now, fake athletes get fake diplomas.
Also, I would like to know how many of these fake athletes were women who were able to get in because of Title IX and “Fairness!!!”

  2. Stole this from somewhere.
What’s the big deal? Libs have already determined that it’s OK to cheat deserving, hard-working students out of college spots based on race. So their race happens to be “Stinking Rich.”

  4. No word on whether any of ‘em claimed fake Native-American ancestry …

From the Daily Mail article on the same story:

“Prosecutors said in court on Tuesday that some students also lied about their ethnicity on applications to take advantage of affirmative action.”

And why not? It only takes 1/1024 to get away with it (for a while at least ) …

  5. If Mommy and Daddy wind up broke and going to jail, how will their unmotivated, “dumb as soup” progeny ever manage to get into the “right” (as in “proper”) colleges in order to get their degreescredentials so they can get their high-paying sinecures in government or in the H/R departments of major corporations?

  6. From the U.K. “Daily Mail”: “Lori Loughlin’s daughter was spending spring break on a yacht owned by the USC Board of Trustees Chairman when the college bribery scandal broke – and the YouTube star has now returned home to face possible expulsion from the school”
One would have to have a heart of stone to read this and not collapse in hysterical laughter.

  8. From Fox News comes this gem:

Olivia Jade Giannulli, who’s doting mama, Lori Loughlin, ALLEGEDLY “purchased” entrance to USC for this privileged princess, was partying in the Bahamas on the yacht belonging to Rick Caruso, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the University of Southern California, when she learned mama was being indicted.

You can’t make this stuff up.

  12. Rich people spending money to ensure their progeny have an advantage over others is not news. This is just a newly-discovered twist on the process.

No asterisk on MY college diploma…

  13. ^9., MikeAZ: S’okay – it’s cool. By the by, out of all the students at USC, how did Olivia Jade rate a visit to the Chairman’s yacht? The U.K. “Daily Mail” mentioned that she’s a “YouTube” star (whut?! The Chairman of USC is a YouTube fan?!)

  14. ^13: The mind reels at the possibilities, most bordering on the pornographic. She was apparently enjoying Spring Break in the sun with the daughter of the Trustee and other nubile, young, innocent….

Well, most dirty, old men out there can figure out where this is going.

  15. ^ Bordering on pornographic?
Heck, there’ll be a satirical porno flick within a week.
Nah, it doesn’t get truly pornographic until you bring ‘er mom into it
    (at which point, I’m in).

Now, let’s hear about academic casting couches.

  16. Haven’t seen or heard from chinless wonder “Camera” Hogg in a while (but that may change after that massacre in Christchurch, N.Z.). I’d like to learn how a foul-mouthed subliterate with an SAT score in the mid-1200′s managed to get admitted to Harvard when I’ve heard that the SAT scores of Harvard’s bottom 25% of students are around the upper 1400′s to the low 1500′s.
