  1. Imagine being a rocket scientist for the Ayatollah. What do you suppose your career path looks like right about now?

    Launch a rocket. Rocket fails. Scientist scratches head, makes adjustment to rocket/satellite/launch program, tries again. Rocket fails again. Scientist scratches head again, makes adjustment to rocket/satellite/launch program again, tries yet again. D*mn rocket fails again. Ayatollah scratches scientist’s head, brings in next scientist who now has incentive to get the next launch right.

    Streetsweepers in Tehran have a longer life expectancy right now.
