  1. Ahh, Henny Youngman.
When I was 16 I broke my pinky in the middle bone, it was sticking out at a 45 degree angle.
The Dr., holding my hand, said, “What’s that?” so I looked. As I did he put the bone back into place.
When i looked at him he such a smug, superior grin that it ticked me off more than the fix, which I would have let him do if he’d said he was going to do it.
So I asked if I would be able to play the violin.
    He answered, “Yes”
You know my response, “Good, cuz I never could before.”
The intern splinting and bandaging my finger laughed out loud.
I figure 40 years later he’s still changing bed pans.

Don’t be surprised/angry when horses do what horses do.

Yeah, I read a kind’a version of that joke somewhere, and I immediately read it back in my mind as Henny Youngman would’ve presented it

Your joke was one of my Dad’s favorites

Yeah, ‘em hosses got four, heavy, iron-bound clubs wielded by very strong muscles; and they can go from bruising your toes to sending you to the hospital/morgue, depending on their mood. I recommend bein’ nice to ‘em
