Etymology question of the day

  1. An Antonym for Defenestration is not as simple as for the word Egress: to leave a place and its antonym Ingress: to enter a place.

    The original meaning of Defenestration is the act of being thrown down from a window of sufficient height to cause fatal injuries.

    Therefore; the Antonym for Defenestration would have to mean the act of reversing fatal injuries by throwing it up to and through a window of sufficient height.

    I think Enfenestration is the word Einstein would use.
