  1. That crater looks too large for an anti-aircraft warhead, unless it was a very old Vietnam era missile. Makes me think it was a surface to surface bombardment missile gone astray.

  2. Nobody wants to admit that Russian ordinance landed in NATO territory, even totally by accident. For over seventy-five years, NATO generals and western politicians have been threatening what would happen if the Ruskies tried to “attack” the peaceful, fun-loving nations of The West. Now that it’s happened, NOBODY wants to admit to it.

    For all the times they bullied us, and we bullied them right back, now that we have a chance to slap them around a little and strut our stuff, nobody has the stones to do it.

    Politicians have been stirring the pot in Europe since before the Great War. When it bubbles over and the shooting starts, they wring their hands and clutch their pearls and complain that we didn’t give diplomacy a chance.

  3. #II started before Germany invaded Poland in 1939, but Manchuria evidently didn’t count at the time.
