Thanks, I was about to post that with the title, “You’re Welcome.”
I hope each rescued fisherman was issued a Ka-Bar and a map to Iran’s leadership. At least I hope we gave those guys cell phones. Might want to have ‘em return a favor someday by helping pilots or SF escape and evade.

I’m expecting a big Thank You from the Iranian Governm…… oh, Nebbermind.
But Seriously, what happens when you’re saved by the Great Satan his own self?
Is that a capital crime?
The mullahdoms are so screwed up and full of hate, it would not surprise me if the fishermen were hanged for making the US Navy look good instead of attempting fruitless martyrdom.

Let me if I got this straight: Iran had most of their Navy, backed up by all their latest bad-assed gizmos, in a full-scale practice exercise to close the Straits of Hormuz, and all that still wasn’t enough to:
1) Deter the pirates, or
2) Do anything about said pirates?
I guess the American taxpayer will be on the hook for the trials and lawyers and upkeep on these Somalian pirates. If I was in charge I would spend around $230 on them. I think that’s about what Uncle Sam spends on 1000 rds. of 7.62 ball ammo.

They each were given a USS Kidde baseball cap to wear home.
