  2. Orlando Sentinel headline: Obama at Disney: ‘America is open for business’

Subtitle (mine): Unless you’re an unemployed oil pipeline worker.

Honestly, when I heard on the evening news that he intended to open the door wider to international tourists, I thought the anchor said “international terrorists.”

  9. Prez. Dickweed just does not see things the way everyone else sees them. Even Jimmy Carter would not have done his speech there.

2012 is soon coming!!! Thank GOD!

  10. From the ironic trivia dept:
The castle at Disney is modeled after Schloss Neuschwanstein, one of the fantasy castles of Bavarian King Ludwig Wilhelm II, a.k.a. “Ludwig the Mad”. He was deposed due to bizzare behavior, complex and expensive flights of fancy, & mental illness.

    Hmmm, foreshadowing?

  11. Danintampa– fascinating, where did you get that bit of knowledge? Quite possible.

  12. And not only that, Neuschwanstein was the castle used in the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

You know, the one about the magic green-energy car – so green it didn’t even need electricity, just unicorn farts.

(Never saw any unicorns in the movie, though … )
