The Obama part of the pic always made me feel a little uneasy — that there was something a little off, but since I’m not a p-shop person, I just supposed that it was his dark-side aura getting captured by the camera.

Someone should do a youtube re-subtitle of the Hitler rant, in which Hitler learns that Obama actually does not exist and that he is just a composite of actor-doubles and digital manipulation.
(hmmm…. how’s that for a thriller novel plot? The President dies of a stroke or something (his wife poisons him?) at midnight on Jan 20, after he is inaugurated for a four year term. There is a body double available (I’m pretty sure that idea has been used somewhere already) and his advisors and wife (all of whom hate the buffoonish Vice-Presiden) decide they will rule by composite proxy.)

Isn’t Obama’s body language there indictment enough?
Surely, they would have pasted-in a more positive image.
I don’t see any compelling PShop evidence.
All points are explainable by other possible lighting effects,
so more evidence is needed.
Besides, everything about this poseur is a composite,
from his birth certificate to his most recently uttered sentence.
Bottom line: So?
We already know this jackass is a fake.
Can’t impeach ‘im for felonious PhotoShoppery, anyway.

DougM, I re-read the article author’s CV at the end of the article
& she seems to be very highly qualified to make the analysis she
did on the graphic in question! She also seemed to be quite thorough.
Might be worth another evaluation! If her analysis is true & it turns
out that he wasn’t there at the time of the operation, it puts a whole
different perspective on all his braggadocio about ‘killing’ Bin Laden.

Seriously, though, a lens with a short focal length will cause the kind of effect seen in the photo. The very center of the photo appears the furthest away and the apparent size increases as you move out from that point. Also note that our benevolent dictator is set back from Admiral Mullen, and kind of hunkered down. My guess is the photog chose to go with the wide-angle glass to get the whole room.

Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I think the author’s points are interesting.
It’s just that I can posit alternative, un-Shopped explanations (as the author mentioned).
Must caution against believing the worst because I want to.
I’d be tickled if it turns out to be a composite, though. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit.

By the way, he’s now been heard to refer to the troops overseas as “fighting for me.” Which I expect is a big surprise to the troops in question.

I look at the original picture and to me it looks like Obama is about to crap in his pants. A totally scared and confused “what the hell am I doing here?” look.
