  1. Well that explains why he’s been here 8-9 times for fundraising and has never once visited one of our myriad military installations…

  2. Quite an odd juxtaposition of emotions in this post there Doug.

Immediate anger at the words of the pResident, turned to sad and happy tears at the homecoming.

You are the evil genius of our time.

  4. We saw this this am on FnF— Gretchen couldn’t talk after watching it– we couldn’t either— yes on his behalf— that little boys — what we are all doing on HIS behalf is paying millions of tax payers dollars for Him to fly around on AF1 to raise millions of dollars for his campaign –

  5. I would not have been able to deal with 2 years of back to back combat; 1 year with an infantry battalion & the 2nd year in an F4 squadron if I had had children during that time. Those Marines who had children & still served their one year tour, had my everlasting affection. Impossible against impossible in my observation. our observation. And, we got no signals of affection or understanding from fellow Americans when/ if we came home…..

I remember looking at the hippie counter-culture and grieving at their self-inflicted lack of understanding that it was not we who unilaterally fought, but they and their ficticious notions of human nature who blamed us…and somehow felt good—-that they supposedly felt more empathy with our killers than their fellow citizens.

    Jane Fucking Fonda!!!!

  9. When Obama accepts his party’s nomination, don’t be shocked if he demands a personal loyalty oath and allegiance to himself.

After all, they are fighting on his behalf.

  12. That filthy cocksucking son of a bitch Uhbama has no idea what America, morality, decency, loyalty, honor or faith mean. His view of the world stops at the edge of the mirror.
Aside: one of those ’1st row swells’ was Chris Dodd. I just moved him from my “Flog Before Hang” list to the “Leave Behind For the Taliban” list.

  13. 36 years, multiple combat tours, 7 Presidents. It ain’t about “them”; I fought and served “on behalf of” THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, which I swore an oath to defend. And about that “all enemies, foreign and domestic”…..
