  1. Makes me want to spit nails, but over the last three years I’d have used up the state’s nail supply already.

  2. Although they nabbed that bomb, my understanding is that this was an ongoing operation, which can’t now continue. If they’d continued, there’s a good chance they could have bagged the builder, instead of just some of his handiwork.

So rather than spiking the ball in the end zone, these fools spiked it on the 50 yard line.

Give them another four years, and we won’t have any intelligence assets left at all.

Some will say, “maybe that’s their intention;” but I’m honestly beginning to think they really are that self-agrandizing, amateurish and incompetent….

…although I do admit that it is a little difficult to believe in this level of stupidity.

I hope someone does a Scooter Libby style investigation and some people go to jail for a very long time. Could this have been POTUS? Don’t worry. If it was, there will be plausible deniability, and some idiot will fall on his sword for the Idiot in Chief. Still, this does have the value of taking a few useful idiots off the board, and offering a cautionary tale for the rest of them.

Sadly, Democratic voters will rationalize this, and swing voters who will decide this election aren’t even likely to find out that it happened, much less understand its importance.

  3. Sadly, I’ve got to vote for DougM’s “worst worst” scenario.

  4. At any rate, the moron whoever lined up to do this was either a pawn in a false flag or a true moron.

    maybe both.

I don’t think there’s anyone in the obamunist regime who could count his nuts three times and come up with the same answer twice.

  8. I vote worst-worst.
Captain Bullshit is desperate, and grasping at straws to save himself, on top of his massive narcissism. Don’t forget, he outed the killing of OBL immediately for his ego, like the immature man-child he is, which negated the value of the piles of intelligence material found in OBL’s hideout. Then we have the Clinton cancer cells (Plame-Wilson, e.g.) scattered all over CIA and State for decades.
    Yeah, worst-worst.

  9. If you have the basic Netflix (only $7.99/mo… and don’t forget to tell them that Uncle Hog sent you!), you can watch, right now, this ‘documentary’ called Secrecy.

The basic theme of this agitprop is that we (the USA) should have no secrets. About anything. At all. Evar!!!.

I made it most of the way through, mainly for the research value, but you can tell in the first 5 mins. who was behind this ridiculous idea.

I hope that Mittens has the balls to fire about half of this increasingly worthless agency. I doubt that he does, but, to be fair, at this point it would be easier for him to just take them out into the courtyard and, well, go all ‘Stalin’ on them (hell, you can’t even fire a federal janitor without an act of Congress), but hope springs eternal… kinda like herpes.

  10. The lack of cooperation with intelligence is what led to the loss of the World Trade Center.

In a less polite society, the release of intelligence that may cause the death of citizens is considered treason.

  11. Oh, those Brits — Excellent use of the word *tawdry*.

So I guess this puts an end to the desperate hope that this was intentional BS put out to make every aQ leader look at every volunteer suicide bomber with a jaundiced eye?

    *sigh*

  12. ^ Yep.

And Who but the Brits still say “tawdry?”

After all, over here “tawdry” is the new “cool.”
