  1. Name all the presidents that served a single term without a budget? Sometimes, being the *1st* can mean being the last………..

  2. Col. J, One can only hope and pray– and vote. And encourage others to do the same.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the voters held their respective representadrones and senatroids accountable for their *ahem* misbehavior this fall and sent them to early and inglorious retirements along with teh precedent?

  3. ^ Ha! The First Budgetless President.

Of course, his not having passed a budget is all a result of the partisan bickering in congress.

How’s 99-0 partisan pickering? I don’t know, but I’m sure he can explain it somehow. Or duck the issue…. say, have you heard about the Republican War on Woodchucks?

  4. Don’t shoot me….I thought this was funny!

    Gonorrhea Lectim-new deadly disease

One should be thinking about this seriously. I’m sending this because I know you are bright and I care about you. The Center for Disease Control has issued a warning about a new virulent strain of this old disease. The disease is called “GonorrheaLectim.” It’s pronounced “Gonna re-elect em” and it is a terrible Obamanation.

The disease is contracted through dangerous and high risk behavior involving putting your cranium up your rectum. Many victims contracted it in 2008…But now most people, after having been infected for the past 1-3 years, are starting to realize how destructive this sickness is. It’s sad because Gonorrhea Lectim is easily cured with a new drug just coming on the market called Votemout, pronounced vote-m-out. You take the first dose now and the second dose in Nov. 2012 and simply don’t engage in such behavior again; otherwise, it could become permanent and eventually wipe out all life as we know it.

  5. Obama’s budget was the only thing that unified Republicans and Democrats in both the House and the Senate this year.

  6. It’s almost like he doesn’t WANT a budget…..

    ….oh wait….

    ….hmmmm

  7. What Holger said.
The Repubs won’t go for Uhbama’s budget for obvious reasons, and by voting no, the Dems get last year’s budget with an automatic 7 – 8% increase, including the $800 billion stimulus, and they don’t have to be accountable for anything.

On top of that, there’s another debt limit fast approaching. Last August’s $2.4 trillion increase and Repub cave-in wasn’t enough for the Uhbamunists. They’ve spent all that and more.
Waddaya wanna bet Boehner and Cantor cave to Uhbama this time as well?

    Love it!
Did you write that, or did it come from elsewhere?
Let me know, ’cause that has great, I mean great PhotoShop possibilities.

  9. Musta been those eeeevillll Republicans held down the Democratic Senators and forced them to vote ‘no’ on the bill….. yeah, that’s the ticket…..

    Comment by TimO — May 16, 2012 @ 6:51 pm

  10. Obama didn’t get a vote on his budget cause he KNEW he could never pass any budget that was even half way what he wanted it to be.

Look if it went fiscally conservative then the Dems in the senate would say no. If fiscally like the dems wanted it then the Republicans would say no.

So he comes up with this super bonzo budget NOBODY but a closet socialist (Obama) would want. Thus he yelled ‘Banzai’ and charged.

What he did was not out of stupidity. It was calculated to show he would not deviate from his socialist goals.

  11. Actually,
there’s no requirement for the Pres to submit a budget.
It’s the Congress’ job to say, “Here. Live with this. We’ll appropriate the actual money later. And, oh by the way, if you spend nickel other than as we said, we’ll impeach your ass or cut your staff budget down to a secretary and a cook. Now, get to work.”

  12. there’s another debt limit fast approaching

Wonder if that’s going to turn into an “October surprise,” with congressional Republicans getting out maneuvered (as usual) and tilting the election back toward Obama.

  13. Doug (8)..

It’s an email going around from some of the tea partiers. Wish I could take credit for it but not to be.

  14. I wonder if that’s what they said when BOOSH wanted to raise the debt limit? Actually—– why do we have a debt limit? A lot of good it does. Except of course for it being something the Republicans can use to cause a crisis.

  17. I’m wondering if an American president has ever before had his proposed budget rejected by unanimous vote in both houses?

If not, here’s another first for him.
