  2. “Rush has left was never in the building.”

  4. It’s great that Rush occupies so much of the space in their heads without paying a penny of rent.

  9. Let’s not forget that some of these folks have racked up $30k to over $100k in debt getting advanced degrees from “good” universities.

I hope Rush is never on TV, or they may break the little glass window in the front of the box trying to get at him.

(Say, Sean Hannity is on TV! Let’s tell them about him and steer them toward the closest TV: “He’s in there! Get ‘em!”)

  10. Actually, Ironic, Rush DID have a TV show in the early 90s.

But then the crazies weren’t quite as crazy back then, so the TV sets survived ….

  12. I think I just had me one of them piffanys: These people are like horribly off-key drunks trying to sing karaoke. They actually believe that they’re singing beautifully and that the crowd is digging their act. It wouldn’t occur any other way to them. Perish the thought.

They are entertaining, but only briefly, and not for the reasons that they think they are.

I wouldn’t mind keeping a couple of them in the pen out back just to use for the occasional live target practice.

Just kidding. I don’t have a pen out back.

  13. National Organization of Women is protesting Rush outside my office at noon today. I’ll try and get some pics. Rush won’t be there either, but he is on the station.

  15. Give them the address of Farrakhan and tell them Rush is over there… then stand back and watch the fun….

    Comment by TimO — May 18, 2012 @ 6:03 am

  16. Actually it is logical that if you don’t like a radio or TV personality you would protest outside a station that broadcasts him. If they thought he was actually there that’s another kind of stupid, but the concept of “we don’t like this guy, stop giving him air time” is reasonable.

Of course, not one of them is ready to answer the question of “If we stop broadcasting him, what will we broadcast that will make us as much money?” And the boycott thing was tried, folks, and failed spectacularly.

  17. NOW still exists? That’s so… gee I don’t even know which decade back there… 70s maybe? As in that’s so 70s! NOW is so over. Surely there’s more stylish and up to date I’m-a-loud-angry-obnoxious-victim organizations one can join?

I bet not even Fluke belongs to NOW. Who would, when you can just joint the Democratic party and emote with Debbie W-S.

Give them the address of Farrakhan and tell them Rush is over there…

    YES!!!!!!

“If we stop broadcasting him, what will we broadcast that will make us as much money?”

RonF, that is sooooo 1%. They are supposed to broadcast pointless, politically correct crap that nobody listens to and no sponsor in their right mind would ever pay for.

  18. Fortunately, one of the OCCUPYSnots suffered only minor injuries. He was listening to Rush through his *ear phones* & mistakenly shouted, “HEY GUYS, he is RIGHT HERE! I can hear him!!!!!!!”

    “SOMETHING!”
    When do we want it?”
    “WHENEVER.”

  21. For some, maybe most, protesters it isn’t really about effectively delivering any kind of rational message. It’s about getting together with compatible people and friends, and just enjoying an inexpensive time together. So they don’t need to be smart, or even look smart. They just need to be about as smart as their peers — not very, and certainly not more.

It’s kind of like a silly frat party for people who have decided to reject the idea of being a frat member as soon as it became obvious that there was no chance in hell that a frat would want them.

The protesters each have found a group that would accept them and value their company. Like a fraternity. Delta Upsilon Mu, forever!

  22. Now should be protesting the true problem for women: Muslims and their teachings.

But their handlers from the radical left won’t send them there.

  23. ^ But they can drive in Saudi Arabia now!

Comment by SondraK, Queen of my domain — May 18, 2012 @ 9:13 am

  24. Mojo: That is only slightly correct. Their answer to “when do we want it” is always “NOW!”. They are coddled, impatient, self focused, sociopathic, entitlement minded, amoral animals, and they have no concept of what it means to have to wait for something.

    Comment by Caged Insanity — May 18, 2012 @ 12:31 pm

  25. no concept of what it means to have to wait for something

It will be a good long time they will have to wait before they manage to pay off their college loans…. if ever.
