^ And yet we’re still sending them money, aren’t we?
(Good thing this election cycle won’t be about character or competence, since the average voter still thinks that at a personal level BHO’s just such a fine man, and oh so wonderful.)
Did I mention Romney tied his dog to the top of his car? Now there’s a real lack of moral character. Abandoning people who side with us in the most dangerous circumstances possible pales to nothing compared to making a dog ride on the outside of the car, where the wind blows in your doggie face.

The American leftists will never do anything for people like Afridi. They hate America and they hate anybody who would help us. They like the idea that burning Afridi will make it far less likely that we will get help in the future.
I would not be surprised to find that he was outed by some traitor at the Dept. of State. (Is that redundant?)
Not all bad. Pakistan`s reputation for decency will prevail here. The 89 yr old doctor will prolly get paroled in 15 years; so there`s that———

Almost everywhere in the Muslim world,
terrorists manage to “escape” from prison.
Perhaps that’s the plan, here, too.

Hog (6): …completely destroy the CIA and all US intelligence assets…
Well, that’s certainly the result. It’s hard to tell whether it’s based on intention, ineptitude, or out of control personal advantage seeking. Maybe it’s all three.

It is a deliberate, willful act on the part of our precedent, I am convinced.
He will not be happy until we are taken down.
God help us if he somehow winds up getting reelected!

Well, Jimmy Carter and Admiral Stansfield Turner almost destroyed the CIA in the 70′s. The CIA was set back for decades. Especially it’s human intel sources. In the spirit of “human rights” many foreign intel sources of America were exposed and eliminated. obamah is just trying to finish what Jimmy Carter started.
And as far as abandoning our allies. Think BAY of Pigs and JFK. Think Southeast Asia in the 70′s. Especially the Hmung of Laos. Carter pissed on pro West Rhodesia and turned it into the communist shithole called Zibabwe. Carter also pissed on Somosa and handed Nicaragua over to the communist Sandinistas. Jimmah loved commie style human rights. Bush 41 encouraged the Kurds and the Marsh Arabs to revolt after Gulf War 1, then abandoned them. Bush 41 also renigged on a promise to the Turks for their support in that war. That led to the Turks not allowing Bush 43 to land the 4th ID on Turkish soil to attack Iraq from the east in 2003.
Consider obama pulling the rug out from under Poland after they had snubbed Russia by agreeing to allow us to install an anti missile shield on their territory. Dayum! I have a poor memory, but can list too many cases of America abandoning those who supported us. And double Dayum! There will be more to list before obama is gone.

I think that was Shakespeare. Before he got an editor.
^ Too bad about Shakespeare getting an editor. Good thing he’s now got Hog to reverse-edit for him.
TomR (16): and we are now abandoning the people who were stupid enough to support us in Iraq and Afghanistan. I cannot imagine why anyone anywhere in the world would ever want to trust or work with us. That and the utter inconsistency (other, of course, than the perennial betrayal our allies) of our foreign policies is the biggest single, fatal flaw in our long-term foreign “policy.”

Valerie Plame could not be reached for comment.
And to watch senate dems skidder around on this today is priceless.
“It’s outrageous that they (the Pakistanis) would say a man who helped us find Osama bin Laden is a traitor,” said Durbin, the Senate’s number two Democrat.
Assuming a change in administrations, I’d like to see a special prosecutor for a Valerie Plame II investigation Jan 21, 2013. There are all sorts of things to look into, and lots of people to prosecute.

Oh by the way, can you imagine Reagan, either Bush, or pretty much any president in the entirety of American history, having left office, subsequently getting photographed partying with porn stars like Bill did this week?
I’ve got nothing against nice, wholesome porn stars, of course; but surely there should be a little thought for the dignity of the office?
oops… guess that was a little off subject. Oh well.

I don’t even believe in Hell but I want Carter to go there anyway.
