I know this is totally off topic, but please keep Colorado Springs in your thoughts and prayers. A number of my classmates from highschool are watching their homes burn along with many of the places I used to spend time with friends.
It’s rather surreal for me right now. :/

Aye CI.
The post contains the obvious facts the media and washington don’t want us to know about since it would show how foolish they are. And stoopid, and in blatant violation by not enforcing so many laws long on the books.
What’s next? Citizenship papers to vote or run for office?

I’m with ya. Didn’t post on it, because it’s not a cause for outrage or a source of irony or humor. Well, okay, I could note that nature’s still tryin’ to kill us 24/7.

One of the Justices said that the Arizona law “interferes with the Federal Government’s enforcing of it”.
In some strange Alice-in-Wonderland universe, a state enforcing a law that’s already on the Federal Books (and which the gummint fails to enforce) is “interference”.
Absolutely LOVED dialing for dollars last night. Had the chance to talk to a couple nice folks from Arizona. Once I identified who I was and who I was raising funds for, the first words out of their mouths was “How much do you want?”
If I was a Republican in Arizona I would suggest that Govenor Brewer employ an option she has that might baffle the Federal government until January, 2013.
Apaches!!!!!!! No love for Mexicans, I would authorize them paint their faces and hang bloody scalps along trails and waterholes. No paperwork, no budget—–just cash only to acquire cases of *Falling down water*……Me? I would call the operation “Fast and Ferocious”!

Let’s start a list of things you need ID to do. Here’s a new one, from the comments at #QuestionsThatStumpMitt:
“Why is showing ID to buy spray paint not racist when having to show ID to vote is?”
Probably already on the list: get a library card, get a hotel or motel room.
