Very nice except for one glaring problem.
That wall is white.
If you want to see a white wall in my house you have to open a closet door. Every wall and ceiling has some color too it.
Same for the house I rent to a buddy from work. No white except in the closets. Like I told him when I asked him to look at color samples and re replied (In his Southern drawl), “White’s good”,- White walls are for apartments.
May I suggest that a light tan with gold tones might be nice?
And yes, I know, all in good time.
The Asylum decor is proceeding nicely!

dick…it’s a Stellars Jay nest from my garden. They’re obnoxious loud and ballsey ( and super pretty ). Thought it was appropriate :-)
Thanks, Brad…and for acknowledging in due time. I have many virtues but patience isn’t one of them…so I’m working on that. It’s very difficult especially since there’s so much to do here….painting inside is pretty much dead last in line at the moment. sigh…
I think I’m doing ok for being colorblind but it takes me forever to choose paint colors! yikes!

It’s beautiful! I agree on painting the walls. I paint everything (including closets). I see something like a piece from here or here as your glass for the door. I especially like the “Whirlwind Serving Platter” or the “Artistic Fused Glass Round Serving Platter”

I know what would blend the hole pitcher together nicely.
Put a soft colorful rug that fits in between the 4 legs. Why? An *Asylum cubby hole for Rumsfeld* to own, that will add to his excitement and pleasure at the prospect of going to The Asylum identical to yours. I know, I know—-the dogs fucking love the place in toto, but—–this proposal is one of a hunnert ideas yet unleashed from your brane cavity(…kept open by a titanium internal bar between the ears; neutralizing internal vaccum pressure…) that will ultimately blend EVERYTHING inside and outside [down to grains of sand, blades of grass, dead seals, bears with the hunnert ideas inside (…including a wisp of smoke emitting from the *telescope* and *light switch* behind a bathroom door, etcetra,etcetra & Blah Ba—————————————————–

Sondra….. I have the most severe form of Color Blindness, only True color I see is red. New Bride…. Wow, 3 years last Thursday, understands! Whole house is White to Black, lotsa Grey tones, with a deep brick red for accents and ocassionally walls.
Everybody visits loves it…. Different, but classy.
Point is, paint what you see and love, it’s your home.
Also, an Eagle, Globe and Anchor would look nice, as the Colonel suggested!
