Where’s Miss Kitty and Aunt Bea? Where is the character, the only character Angelica Huston played with any sincerity, Clare Allen in “Lonesome Dove”? Where are the women that grew this country? That would be Barbara Bush, Laura Bush, Nancy Reagan….and yes, I would include Bess Truman and Maimie Dowd Eisenhower.
