  6. This is America!

So, why is it that 50+% of “us” think we couldn’t get along without government mandated “charity”?

  8. My wife once worked at a base vet clinic and had to help folks figure out how to get their pets overseas. The Brits are absolutely anal about importing pets out of fear of importing rabies. The reason it’s so expensive is that all incoming pets MUST be boarded for a minimum of six months, at the owner’s expense. If they have rabies, it’ll manifest itself by then. These rules were laid down before rabies vaccine was widely used, but it doesn’t matter. Vaccination records or no, your pet will be quarantined for six months.

  14. AS I was reading the whole thing I was seeing in my minds eye It’s A Wonderful Life right down to the end with the bell ringing and another angel getting their wings. I’m a softy for these and let the joyful tears run that yes, people are still like this in this country, our military and the world.

  15. Angela is my daughter. I kept telling her “It’s like that ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ story” but she couldn’t see how it was similar until she saw the above e-mails. I live in Pinellas Park, Fl and am very proud of her. I kept saying prayers and told God, “Please, Lord, You have to make a way for this to happen” but it didn’t seem possible. As usual, The Father of Lights came through again!!!
