Ramirez and Dennis Miller for R&R press secretaries.
There would be de-nutted Libtards bleeding all over the land.

^ Can you imagine Dennis Miller as Press Secretary? They’d be repainting the walls every day just to cover up the blood stains.
On another note, Hillbuzz has an interesting report on a meeting with a bunch of Chicago black community leaders. Should cheer everyone up.
And at the top of the Hillbuzz home page, there is an article reporting the news in Chicago diplomatic circles that the murdered Ambassador was bent. Meaning that the State Department deliberately sent a known homosexual to be Ambassador to a Moslem country.
As Casey Stengel said, “Doesn’t anybody here know how to play this game?”

Hey, the LSM got theirs the the other day. Big gift for Romney and the Right in the USA!
Claire 8: We’ve had *spit* female Secys of State for how many years now?
It is, of course, the particular females that held the post that I found troubling; although I’ve wondered how this has really played in a large part of the (not just arab) world where male strength is the only thing respected. But to tell the truth, would John Kerry have gotten any better results?
Got to say though, our foreign policy wasn’t great under Condi Rice either.
But who would do well with the Presidents, State Department staffs, and foreign policy idiot-ilogical folly that’s been popular in political and diplomatic circles for many years.
For a nice fantasy-satisfaction moment, I pause to imagine Jeane Kirkpatrick as Sec. State, representing a president who knew his ass from a hole in the ground, foreign policy wise.
(soapbox: Why is it that anyone who goes to the aptly named Foggy Bottom gets lost in the fog?)

It proves nothing, but Wikipedia on Stevens is remarkably reticent on his adult life, and says nothing about any relationships he may have had of any kind.
I suppose it can be argued either way, but it has struck me for years that the USA has shown remarkable insensitivity to local sensibilities in all sorts of diplomatic postings to all sorts of places. I doubt that this changes the fundamentals of cultural differences for which we should not apologize*, but it must surely contribute to the perception of American arrogance abroad.

The Marines ARE ready. Hell, we got “….to the shores of Tripoli”…. in the Marine Corps Hymn. Plus, two of my F-18 Hornet squadrons, The Black Knights and the Death Rattlers trashed Bengasi, Libya one night, for president Reagan!

Yet he has a 50/50 chance of taking his act on the road for four more years. Speaks volumes for the cesspool our country has become.

I thought the ambassador had a wife and kids. :/ Must have been reading about one of the other victims. None of them deserved this.
Withdraw all Americans and glassify the place.
