  2. Hey, if you’ve ever been down and out enough to sleep at “The Sally,” you know they deserve a few bucks.

I put five in the kettle every time I can afford it.

Been there — bought borrowed the shirt — grateful as Hell.

Grateful as Hell to the other Army, too — and Navy, Marines, AF, Coasties, etc. They do what my arthritic knees won’t let me do. Bless ‘em for uniting the barbarians with their god.

  3. That reminds me, I’ve got to put a couple of care packages together. Know anybody who could use one?

  5. Ease up on the Salvation Army. The ‘Lympians hate them because you can’t be sauced in their shelters. That’s gotta be worth SOMETHING.

They do the most good per dollar given.

Got family and friends who are in the organization.

    As you were.

  6. The ‘Lympians hate ALL our armed forces, so we’re good.

    Carry on.

  8. The Starvation Army has always been one of my favorites. They’re part of the Good America. The part of America that makes America great.

Sure, the band is kinda cheesy, but it’s free. Shut up.
