We classical liberals (conservatives) must quit playing defense, and start playing offense. We can win this. Most people prefer liberty, freedom, opportunity and options over the nanny state and the road to serfdom.
We have let the liberals illiberals throw their crap against the wall faster than we can scrape it off. We need to start throwing our crap against the wall faster than they can scrape it off.
We need to quit dissing their agenda (which sucks!), and instead, start promoting our agenda (which rulez!) — otherwise, we just come off looking like a bunch of grey-haired curmudgeons. Let’s make them look like the anti-humanist scumbags that they are. The young people will vote for the most positive message.
We have a good message, but we act ashamed of it. It’s totally tragic — literally! We have a duty to our fellow man, to get people off the road to serfdom. Where are all the good marketing people?
The question, is, will the Communist, foreign born, usurper President start the next revolution with an executive order banning the possession of firearms by the average citizen, and then if he is that damn stupid, will the law enforcement of this country, local, state, and federal, be willing to murder Americans like me who will refuse to surrender our guns?
Molon Labe, Motherfucker.

Y’know those public sector unions that hate your guts?
Yeah, that law enforcement. And no, they won’t hesitate if they’re told to, of that I have little doubt anymore.

Doug – to your poster’s caption –
Given the increasing domination of our schools, communications and politics by Political Correctness and with it, the accompanying rewriting of history and the twisting of meaning or obliteration of words, I don’t think that poor kid will know enough to get mad about in 14 years. I think the NEA has nearly succeeded in turning most kids into obedient, hollowed out, cliche spouting, unthinking, whiny automatons who take and never give; who play with, even become addicts to technology, but will never create it. I’ve seen it too often in my younger friends’ kids, and I despair for their future and our country’s.
These drones will never create anything. They’re hardly alive and only want to be taken care of by teachers who order them around and parents and government who are expected to buy them stuff without protest.
Once in a while, I meet a shining, bright exception, but for the most part, I meet drones spouting social justice talking points who can’t add without a calculator or write a coherent paragraph, don’t know squat about our Constitution and American history, and I see knowhow, work ethic and traditional values only in our generation, and it’s starting to go west.
Sometimes I’m glad I’m old.

^ By the time those thirteen years pass,
just as in the Soviet Union (and all the other the pseudo-utopian hellholes) reality will demonstrate that all the BS was just that. These kids are gonna be pissed !
Let’s hope that the state-security apparatus doesn’t follow the same paths, and the BullSheviks™ can be overthrown before she and the other kids are slaving-away and starving in “social justice” cooperatives.

Liberals are all about love. They love poor people… as long as they stay poor.
They love choice… as long as it’s not in education, energy, healthcare, or commerce.
They love rights… as long as we’re not talking about the rights of the unborn. They love black people… as long as they stay on the Democrat plantation.

I think what we’re starting to see in the youngest generations is something akin to the Sovok, that creature of the old Soviet Union who could spout all the Marxist platitudes fed to him when growing up, but, in reality, was a scheming slacker who got by with as little work as possible and stole what he could from his job to sell or barter on the black market (read the chapter on the post-Soviet Russian economy in P.J. O’Rourke’s “Eat the Rich”). As the Soviet workers used to say, “We pretend to work and they (the government bosses) pretend to pay us.”
