Conservatives don’t care about this. We are happy with the way things are. it’s the democrats that want to start a new conversation every time a (white or gay) kid gets killed. Conservatives have already said all that needs saying on this issue and we don’t need or want another “discussion” where a liberal congress, liberal judges and liberal administration officials force ANOTHER pile of carp down our throats and tell us it’s good for us no matter what the majority wants or what the Constitution says.

The idea of personal responsibility just sticks in the throat of bigoted, class-warfare, collectivists looking for top-down solutions to moral problems. Understandable, since they’ve spent a hundred years rejecting social norms while trying to tear-apart the very concept of morality at odds with Progmorality (PCness).

Poor Mr. West…..we just can’t win with him. We bring up the statistics that show him that black on black gun violence is a problem and he has to call us racists for it every time we do….

Hey, y’know why it’s a big deal when it happens on “the vanilla side of town?”
Because dem honky ofay residents of vanilla-town DON’T MAKE A DELIBERATE, CONSCIOUS LIFESTYLE CHOICE OUT OF MURDERING EACH OTHER ON A DAILY BASIS. We don’t glorify it in music and we don’t encourage it in our young and so when some shit like this goes down, it’s out of the ordinary and bears comment.

And lots of precious little children killed by a mental basket case have to do with African American`s problems how?????? Great Caesar`s gilded underwear, does EVERY fucking problem/issue have to be piled on this tragedy by the political class? IDIOTS + TELEVISION = SEVERING THE NERVE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE MOUTH & BRAIN! (..Alien palentologists 10,000 yrs from now will never figger out WTF…..)

#5. apotheosis: Yup – pretty much sums up what I was thinking. And the thing is, the denizens living in these high-crime urban neighborhoods are not killing each other to meet basic survival needs; all those needs – food, shelter, utilities – are being met through various government agencies. No, they’re killing each other out of a sense of entitlement – that some guy didn’t show them the proper respect. They’re the more deadlier equivalents of the mook in the local bar who punches out some poor schmuck because “he was lookin’ at me funny”. This is one aspect that they share with the nutjob white mass murderers: they’re not getting the proper respect that they believe is due them, so somebody’s got to pay”.

What was it I said about a month ago? something about examples of why the “n” word will never leave the English language?

Personally, I prefer the Kraken of self-determination.
Can we stop with the bogus classical allusions now?
“…but it just upsets me when we’re so deferential.”
Deferential means “showing deference, respectful”. Deferential to whom? Or does he mean “differential”, meaning “of or pertaining to difference or diversity” (in this case, between the treatment of black and white murdr victims)?
I read the article looking for any context that might make that sentence reasonable, but it ain’t there.
Now it might have been a mis-transcription of spoken words, but still, if it were me, I’d want to proofread a quote before allowing it to be published. I guess maybe Ivy League affirmative action profs don’t really need to be literate.

It would be imperative *not* to steer between Scylla and Charybdis, because the fucking rocks smash everything between them.
Talk about your failed classical allusions (or illusions as Sean Penn would say).
The MFM drives this crap to begin with and it spent how many weeks if not months driving a false narrative when Trayvon Martin got shot?
And nice use of the Air Jordans. Maybe they ought to be banned since young folks are going out of their way to give other young folks the right to bare feet.

And he is exactly right. There’s a Newtown full of Black people every week end.
The “deference” is that the Black folks in the projects are wholly owned by the national Democratic party. So there’s no political benefit to be gained by either side from protecting, or even from talking about protecting them.
Our failure to provide public safety in public housing is an absolute shame.

He should look to a black culture that looks down on education, wallows in their servitude to “Democrat principles”, glorifies death and misogyny in hip-hop music.
The Zimmerman trial is reserved for inciting a nationwide race riot next summer.

Cornel West is a moron, a fool, a darling of the left (hence his stint at harvard) and he is, therefore, best ignored. (I wouldn’t trust him to be competent in ANYTHING except race-baiting.) We can’t reason these traitors and enslavers, who think handouts will make the “poor blacks”* happy (with “getting even” or “getting theirs”), so why waste time trying to figure them out? Spend time refining, and disseminating, the concepts and actions of good ideas and good people. If you want to be “racist” then focus on the likes of Allen West, Thomas Sowell, and Walter Williams, whose ideas ARE worth discussing–and not because they are black but because they are right.
*”Poor blacks” are “poor” because they are poor in spirit. They think they can’t compete, and that they are “owed.” The more time passes with them being told “it’s not your fault you’re lazy, intellectually and morally,” the weaker, the less able to compete, and less happy they become. Then they hate, and hate more, and become better tools for EVIL. All good people should stop coddling them and their masters.

P.J. O’Rourke pointed out that the Fed. is in total control in two parts of the country- The Federal Prison System and the Indian Reservations. No sane person wants to live in either place. We can add most inner cities to that list. The moral of the story is: If someone says that they are here from the government to help you-

Like a magpie finding bits of tinsel and brightly-colored string and weaving them into his nest — knowing, or caring, nothing of the science of mylar manufacturing nor the history and development of the textile industry — this fella picks up shiny, brightly-colored bits of what used to be known as a classical or liberal arts education and weaves them into his …erm, argument with about the same depth of consideration.
Thus proving …someone else’s argument.
