  1. Doug,
    These are brilliant.

    Thank you.

  2. Doug, don’t let yourself fall into the same trap that so many others have fallen into.

Do not mistake evil for stupidity.

These people know *exactly* what they are doing. Their agenda is very clear, and their actions and words are carefully crafted to cultivate the image they want people to have.

  3. People can be evil *and* stupid.

The whole D/R thing is that Dems are brilliant at tactics (elections, factions, bribery, corruption) and have horrific policies (laws, economics). Republicans have great policies and horrifyingly terrible tactics.

  4. …astoundingly dangerous.

There, I fixed that for you.

  5. Merovign (3): No small part of the Dem’s tactical advantage is rooted in the nature of their disastrous policies.

Dems can buy votes by promising to give away welfare money.

Pubs can not buy votes by promising to give away self-reliance.

  6. Pelosi and ANYONE who thinks the 14th means that, is full of dog logs and Kitty Roca.

They are drunk with imagined power, but the hangover will go on for decades.

  7. Not for her it won’t, Joe.

That’s the problem, they shop with our credit card, but we get the bill.

  8. What CI and Merovign said. She is a perfidious twat – emphasis on “perfidious”.

  9. The horrible thing about this is she/they know what she/they doing and knows there are the ignorant who will believe everything she said. She was sent out to do exactly what she’s doing. It’ll be the Democrats mantra from now until it’s raised and any Republican who apposes it will be vilified.

  10. I would say she is abysmally stupid…not to mention hideously ugly!

  11. *crazy like a fox*
These asshats have an agenda that will be pushed at ANY cost!

  12. After reading the story Nancy seems to think that we’re talking about not paying our debts. Just a reminder Nancy, the debt ceiling isn’t about paying off what we owe it’s about not tacking on more debt which will, if not addressed, make it impossible for us to pay off what we owe. And if you have to get a credit line increase just to make your debt payment you’re already in trouble!

    Comment by Gwillie — January 6, 2013 @ 8:38 pm

  13. “the validity of the public debt … shall not be questioned,”

But to keep raising it till it can’t be repaid DOES force it to be questioned.

Thus it’s illegal to raise it!

  14. Pelosi is the poster child for abortion.

  15. Pardon my ignorance, but who exactly is the big-scary-face dude? It never says anywhere.

Is that Karl, or is that Marx? Or maybe it’s just one of the supporting players? Have to give him credit for the big-scary-face thing, though.

    Comment by Hog Whitman — January 7, 2013 @ 1:55 pm

  16. All that means is that the first call on the Treasury is the public debt. The concept that the Congress is supposed to stop paying for something else in order to pay off our bonds is beyond her.

  18. Evil, DougM? Well, in a sense but let’s not forget that he was a kind and loving father. Right up to when he and Magda killed the kids, but even that was an act of love, to spare them having to grow up in a world bereft of the Fuhrer.

  19. ^ Yeah, and he was pals with an animal-loving vegetarian artist who promoted youth physical fitness and civic pride.

  20. There needs to be a test on Constitution basics for all incoming Congresscritters. Make them retest every term (sorta like drivers license tests every 5 years here in CA).

Speaking of villainous Democrats (but I repeat myself), some bozo Congressman from N.Y. is proposing repealing the 22nd Amendment (two term limit for Prez).

He’s tried before, without much success. But I’m sure our Great Leader would have no objection.

  21. Ooops. That’s what I get for coming in late (22nd Amendment thing).

  23. PPS: I just remembered one of the most famous Goebbels photos, by Alfred Eisenstadt (for Life magazine).
