  6. mech : I think you nailed it there. Up until just recently, they had nothing to worry about: all sorts of Free Stuff, just keep voting Democrat.

    Now they’re starting to realize that the Free Stuff is starting to run out.

    Either that or they’ve been looking at their paychecks and wondering what all those bigger deductions are for.

    Based on the news article, they’ve been told for so long that they should just “feel good about themselves”, and they’re finally realizing that there’s nothing to feel good about.

    I think I’ll start a company that provides fuzzy blankets and banjos to depressed millennials.

    When the reality strikes, it can be painful to those long addicted, who were never allowed to lose, whose self-esteem was never pricked by constructive criticism, who would never deign to listen to older, wiser heads, who were always allowed to take the easy way out.
    They’ve shat their beds, and are just beginning to roll over and notice the smell.
    Fuck ‘em.
