  1. Wish every gun and ammo mfg would do that.
You want gun free? You got it assholes!
Don’t call us when your brownshirts need ammo or spares or when your gangbangers run wild.

Now what happens when Cuomo calls Christie to buy some stuff, is that straw buying across state lines? Wellll, not for the elites.

  2. There’s a documentary out now on former Mayor Ed Koch, who may just be the best N.Y, ever had. During the election, he was running against Cuomo. Because Koch wasn’t married, the Cuomo campaign ran ads in the buses and streetcars reading “Vote for Cuomo, not the homo”.

After Koch lost his last election, people would ask him if he would run again. He said, “No. The people threw me out. [pause] Now they should be punished.”

  3. The next step here would be for a manufacturer or two to order “recalls” of certain series of weapons, for reason or reasons unknown.

I’m thinking of Barrett, mainly. The gun-grabbers keep asking why people “need” so many guns. Well, what police force really “needs” 50-cal sniper rifles – those are strictly military-style people-killers, right?

  4. When you consider that most arms manufacturers cannot keep up with demand, this will not hurt their sales. Beau geste!

  5. This is where the Russian arms dealers step in.

  6. I think Ron Barrett said it best:

“Fix your OWN fuckin’ .50′s, LAPD.”

  7. I very much doubt we’ll see a similar letter from Colt, which has benefited hugely from government contracts. New York probably prefers Colt anyway, because Colt’s stuff is insanely overpriced, and people who spend tax dollars like expensive.

  8. Why is the Obama Regime ordering insane amounts of ammunition?

Why to keep it out of your hands, obviously!

  10. So has York Arms:

    York Arms – NY deliveries

Based on the recent legislation in New York, we are prohibited from selling rifles and receivers to residents of New York. We have chosen to extend that prohibition to all governmental agencies associated with or located within New York. As a result we have halted sales of rifles, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, machine guns, and silencers to New York governmental agencies.
For “civilian” customers residing in New York:
    At your choice, we will:
complete your order and ship to a dealer of your choice outside of NY
    refund your payment in full
hold your items here for up to 6 months, at no charge – if you are in the process of leaving NY and taking residence in another state.
For LE/Govt customers in New York:
    Your orders have been cancelled.

  12. From York Arms: “As a result we have halted sales of rifles, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, machine guns, and silencers to New York governmental agencies.”

Aren’t short-barreled shotguns prohibited? Or is that only to formerly long-barreled shotguns that have been altered with a hacksaw? (Not to mention machine guns. Or Gatling guns.)

  13. ^ A short-barrled firearm just takes a $200 stamp from the BATFE.
Get the BATFE paperwork before you cut down your weapon.
Some States/localities prohibit them outright, BATFE stamp notwithstanding.
