  1. That White House being the Obama White House right? Because the White House is just a building—– it’s who’s in it that counts. This President can’t blame the White House for his screw ups— because it’s his White House— The Obama White House.

  2. Oh and not one person who knew about this did anything about it. What the hell it’s just tax payers dollars for the next 50 years.

  3. If they don’t get the bailout, they’ll go bankrupt, and the money will be gone forever; unless the justice department treats it like the organized crime it is, and seizes the assets of all involved.

I have a feeling this will all be swept under the rug to putrefy, until the next election.

  9. NRG CEO [David Crane] is one of the leading voices in the power industry on the topic of climate change and the need for curbing carbon emissions, and he was one of the first U.S. power industry CEOs to publicly call for mandatory climate change measures.
Crane did not get into “renewable” energy until….wait for it….2009 and 5 of 12 NRG lobbyists previously worked for the Federal government. NRG has received $5.2 billion in stimulus funds to date.
    Crony capitalism anyone?

NRG Senior Vice President and Regional President, West [John Chillemi] serves on the board of directors for the California Foundation for the Environment and the Economy, the California Council for Environment and Economic Balance

  11. So what’s all this about the wealthy investors?

Having made significant Dem campaign contributions investments, the wealthy investors expect to be repaid from the public purse, with interest.

  12. r.e.: geezerette 6 — news release just in, “Today, the Federal Government signed a multi-year contract to be supplied with much bigger rugs from several companies controlled by wealthy Democrat campaign donors in a no-bid procurement process that would make Halliburton green with envy.”

Mojo 7: Nice cultural ref., and oh-so apropos.
