  1. Cui bono, indeed? I can think of a few other historical figures turning over in graves; people who curl up into the fetal position at first blush of contradiction do not exactly make for good revolutionaries or even effective activists, either.

    Excellent consumers, though.

  4. I say let the precious snowflakes run away to their coloring books and Play-Doh. The rest of us can carry on the discourse just fine without them.

  5. Sounds like a universissy that won’t produce baristas even brave enough to start a discussion about race.

  6. A wedgie from Camille Paglia about all this r*a*p*e supposedly happening on campus.
“My generation of women rose up and said, ‘Get out of our private lives!’ And the university said, ‘No, the world is dangerous. We must protect you against rape and attack and all those things.’ And we said, ‘Give us freedom! Give us freedom to risk rape! That is true freedom!’”

She goes on to describe the so-called rape culture.

“‘Rape is an outrage that cannot be tolerated in any civilized society.’ That’s not what I’m talking about. I’m talking about this new reclassification of people getting drunk, going on a date, going to fraternity houses, and women not taking responsibility for their own behavior. I said that gay men for thousands of years have been going out and having sex with strangers everywhere. They know they can be beaten up. They know they can be killed. What is this where women are, ‘Oh, we must be protected against even our foolish choices. It’s up to men to…’ This is ridiculous. …
If you are you’re gonna put yourself in the circumstance — if you’re gonna get drunk, if you’re gonna frat parties — then own it.”
Camille Paglia, comparing the current wave of modern women to the real babes back in her day of feminism.
    – from Limbaugh transcript.

I used to think regressing to childhood didn’t happen until one was well into geriatric senility, not at age 20.
If these are the leaders of tomorrow, we’re in deep doodoo.
