  1. Obviously a biased survey.

It didn’t even have “Donald Trump grabbing my genitals” on it, and we know from the news that is America’s number one danger.

  2. What about:
    • Getting shot by a cop for no good reason
    • Conservative speaker on campus
    • The word “Trump” chalked on a sidewalk
    • Collapsing ozone layer
    • Killer bees
    • Brexit dominoes
    • Donald Trump standing right behind me intimidatingly
    • Vast right-wing conspiracy
    • Alligators in the sewers
    • The Illuminati
    • White-guy privilege
    • IRS audit
    • Getting on Hillary’s bad side once too often
    • “The big one” in LA
    • The Yellowstone super-volcano
    • Not having a date for the prom
    • Chemtrails
    • Radon

  3. I also noticed that they changed their “fear domains” between the surveys.
Doesn’t look like they’ve thought this trough.

  4. It’s interesting that 60% of the population is afraid of corrupt government yet it’s about how many people encourage and reward it by supporting those who are……….

  5. I agree; they haven’t thought it through.

The categories are a bit sophomoric; seems to me
“terrorist attack” is a subset of “terrorism”,
    “illness….” and “Buraqcare” go together;
“economic…collapse” and “… “money for the future” go together.

The root of all those that are controllable is “government corruption”.
While they can be fearful, death and dying are part of life.

Sadly missing is “a vanishing Constitution”, pointing to a drift away from a rule of law, which when existing, inspires the public, confident of fairness, to do things within the rules.
If the rules constantly change at the whim of a few individuals, chaos, criminal “me first” behavior and fear follows. We’re well down that path at the moment. (see “Minitru Buraq in China” above)

From a Man for All Seasons:
Will Roper: “So now you’d give the Devil benefit of law!”
Sir Thomas More: Yes. What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?”
Will Roper: “I’d cut down every law in England to do that!”
Sir Thomas More: “Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned round on you — where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country’s planted thick with laws from coast to coast — man’s laws, not God’s — and if you cut them down — and you’re just the man to do it — d’you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake.”
