  2. I think the most important issues are to allow workers to opt out of the union and to make the union collect its own dues. This would weaken unions over time and allow other sensible measures to be adopted in the future.

    I will gladly take Walker over the pols who tried to ram sweetheart deals with the unions before he took office. Walker only has so much political capital and he is fighting an uphill battle against the left wing media.

  3. Well, I guess Walker and Crew got fed up with it. They sent the bill to Committee, removed the obviously fiscal parts and sent the rest (the toothy stuff against collective bargaining and the like) to the State Senate…where it passed as of about 15 minutes ago.
