  1. You know, I’m torn as to whether this is just part of the move from FoxNews to CNN2 or if the Left actually was successful with their campaign to get O’Reilly dumped. Either way, I’m guessing this will encourage the Left to move forward with their plans that ensure we all watch what they deem appropriate on tv, read what they feel reflects their values on the internet and also, the grand plan, that no Conservative will ever dare or be able to run for public office ever again.

  2. I don’t believe it.
When displaying the American flag is racist, telling a woman she looks nice in that dress is practically rape and not wanting your 10 year old daughter to have to undress with a man in a locker room is hate then none of these accusations hold water any more.

  3. We’ve been through this before. Unfortunately, Fox is now a typical corporation with cut-throat wannabees, a dumbass in charge, and the ignorance to realize they just cut off their left foot.

Their ratings will plummet, and they will rationalize their stupidity with the hiring people as sharp as a box of rocks.

  4. The rabid left has been trying to destroy Sean Hannity for years. He’s been told many times that some so and so was looking to dig up dirt on him. The fact that these despicable people haven’t been successful speaks volumes (to me at least) about Hannity’s personal behavior. If you’re in the public eye and the left hates you, you better not stray from the straight and narrow – FYI.

  5. I don’t know what people see in him. Neither my wife nor I can stand him. Pompous, arrogant, full of himself. In his interviews, he constantly interrupts his guests and comes off as a first-rate jerk. And his positions on many issues is hardly conservative.

But I am concerned that the younger Murdocks will turn Fox into yet another progressive mouthpiece. Just to keep up with the Joneses.

  6. ^ In his interviews, he constantly interrupts his guests..
Exactly the reason I couldn’t watch O’Reilly. Some guests were total jerks, and perhaps they deserved to be squashed, but I saw many who were well spoken, interesting, and while in the end I didn’t agree with their point of view, I wanted to hear what they had to say.
A number of times, I found myself yelling at the tube for O’Reilly to STFU and let him/her finish the thought.
I quit watching him years ago, even though I thought his ideas perceptions and political philosophy were dead right.

  7. ^^ But I am concerned that the younger Murdocks will turn Fox into yet another progressive mouthpiece. Just to keep up with the Joneses.

Well, if Fox continues on the path to total SJW convergence, the US media market will have no voice for the average non-whack-job American (and others) to hear. Which spells “business opportunity” for someone with the appropriate pockets.

Paging Mr Ailes. Mr Roger Ailes to the courtesy phone, please.

  10. I haven’t watched O’Reilly in prob’ly fifteen years, so I have no dog in this fight.
Found him insufferable. Never actually learned anything during his show.
(Oh, I’m sorry. You came in for an argument. This is Abuse.)
I also thought he was conservative only when it jibed with his Catholicism.

  11. ^ “you thought this was argument? Sorry, this is abuse.”
Isn’t there a Monty Python sketch about that?

  13. Who cares about FOX or any other MFM outlet. Trump should put O’reilly to work, punking the MSM. It’d be a lot like the failing upwards during the reign of obamanos. C’mon, who they going to tune in to next when he reemerges after stepping down?
