  3. You can tell which companies’ public politics are influenced by the peer-pressure on their CEO’s spouse or teenage kids and the resulting threats or whining from them.

    As many companies have discovered, when you make your brand about politics, you piss-off about half your customer base.

    Too much virtue can be a vice.

  5. In the age of social media, there is no winning position.
    If you don’t take the stupidity bait, you get attacked as a supporter of the cause du jour.

    It’s sad that idiots have taken us to this point, but psychologists and the CEOs of social media giants are laughing their asses off daily.
