  1. I went to the Barber Motorcycle Museum outside Birmingham. The motorcycles I used to drool over as a kid are on display as antiques.

  4. I’ve seen planes in museums that were newer than the stuff I was riding around in… while I was still riding around in them.

  5. Cheer up. The i386 is an antique and it rolled out a mere 30 years ago or so.

On second thought..yah, I am getting old.

  6. Maybe I’m missing something, but what does Morocco need with a spy satellite? Are they a new world power in training, or did the French see a Rube that needed parting from his money?

  7. @ MikeAZ

Morocco is 99% islamic according to wiki. islam just got a spy satellite.

i have no idea if that will mean anything, but i think it makes me nervous.

  8. ^ Although Morocco is kind’a US-friendly,
I expect them to make a pretty good income sellin’ pictures,
or trading ‘em for favors or “leave us alone, you maniacs, and we’ll send you some pics”s.

    (What? Blackmail? Sure)

Then there’s the plausible-deniability thing. The more guys who have cameras, the harder it is to identify the perv who took that pic in the ladies’ changing room.

  9. I think they are sadists who want to watch all the Somalis, Syrians and Libyans swimming to Italy.

  10. Just don’t travel over Sandia or Los Alamos.

Particle beams, trigger fingers, don’t take kindly to strangers.

When in doubt, the French and the Chinese stuff is shoot first, just to be safe.

One can never be too careful.

  11. “A reconnaissance satellite built in secrecy in France….”

If anyone would sell out the West, it would be the Frogs.
