  1. If you’re from Virginia, then he’s “Mr. Jefferson”; if you live here and call him a racist or recognize him only as a slave owner, then you’re one of those %^&*Kommie%$#^ locusts escaping what you ruined in your locality or state and now want to do the same thing here.
I just talked to a very ivy league professor looking chap (yannow, disheveled gray hair, Shakespeare style beard, round-shouldered, horn rims, driving an old Volvo) in the grocery store today) and found out he and his wife just moved here from Connecticut. I asked him why, and he said much better cost of living here in central Virginia.

  3. Sadly, it is happening all over. Wherever the lifestyle is comfortable, the climate mostly temperate, the taxes low, there is a wave of dissatisfied Socialists coming from places like the west coast and the northeast. They have effectively ruined some of the best places to live in this country for “regular” people (Hawaii, California, Oregon, Colorado, New Hampshire, the list is growing.) Now, more great places such as Texas, the Carolinas, Utah, Montana and even Arizona are being infected with the same “give “us” everything free, give “them” the bill” insanity that will destroy this nation if it isn’t stopped.

I used to say we needed to build a wall north from Yuma to keep the poison on the coast. Now I believe we need to build fortress walls around the remaining bastions of constitutional freedom in order to save what freedom we have left.
