  5. Wow, this phrase is absolutely Chinese.
    As a native speaker, l say this often in Mandarin Chinese as well as in English. But how is saying this phrase in English even remotely offensive?!

    Yeah, I was vaaaguely aware of a Chinese-language connection, although I can’t for the life of me remember how where that came from (a movie? book?). It was many many years ago, anyway, but I was goin’ for the “blind” oversight at the expense of legitimacy.
